Title: Data Analyst – Client & Partner

The Role
Main opportunities
Your
role will play a valuable role at the heart of a team that is developing
how analytics and insights can help our lenders and our platform partners
optimise their use of our platform and how they consider and launch new
products into the market and expand their knowledge of the SME lending
marketplace.
Supporting
a series of analytics projects, often ad-hoc, sometimes on going, which
deliver valuable and unique insight to our primary clients and lenders
Key
responsibilities of role
Building,
creating, developing complex relationships between datasets to create an integrated
platform for gaining business insights from the Funding Xchange platform
and data assets
Customer
profiling of FXE users to build a picture of the businesses, people and
financial health of business users of the FXE service
Undertaking
deep dives into our data to determine market positions, market changes,
leading indicators and historic patterns which lead to qualified insights
for our lenders and platform partners, which underpin their strategic
choices, product development, marketing strategies and ultimately
optimising their use of our platform
Developing
and challenging the data to define and answer critical strategic questions
for our clients
Supporting
both senior leaders and relationship managers to deliver these insights to
our clients
Technical
– Work with the development team to help them enable the capture of data
for analytics / insights
Necessary education:
Bachelors’
degree (Engineering, mathematics, computer science, economics, business)
or similar coursework or technical program
Experience required:
At
least 5-7 years’ professional experience in a data analysis and consulting
role
Exceptional
business analytics and quantitative skills and demonstrated experience
analysing complex data and communicating the results to others
Advanced
Excel and Power BI user who can distil insights into visual graphs /
tables for use in PowerPoint presentations
SQL expertise is a key requirement
Experience
/ knowledge of financial services, fintech, technology
Exceptional
written and oral communication skills able to simplify complex problems
for others
Any
past programming / technical experience is an asset (as you will likely
pick-up our systems more quickly)
